Save the Date: Party on the Cut 2026!

Join us for the eighth annual Party on the Cut on Friday, May 1st, 2026! Kick off Windermere Cup weekend with Boats, Bites, Brews, and Bands.

What: Live music, food trucks, drinks, games, and plenty of fun!

When: Friday, May 1st, 6:00–10:00 pm

Where: University of Washington

Tickets: $40 per person (21+ only)

Proceeds from Party on the Cut will benefit the Windermere Foundation.

BOATS

Enjoy a sneak peek of race day, with twilight sprints held on a shortened course through the Montlake Cut, featuring the University of Washington, and this year's competitors.

BITES

Grab a bite from one of local food trucks! If you are interested in being a vendor, please reach out to events@windermere.com.

BREWS

Enjoy a drink in our Sentry Computing Drink Tent!

Sip on a variety of beverages including beer from Anheuser Busch, NW wines, San Juan Seltzers, and specialty cocktails made with Natalie's Orchid Island Juice. We'll also be serving mixed drinks featuring Tito's Handmade Vodka, and whiskey.

No cash, card only for purchasing drinks.

BANDS

We are excited to have Queen Mother and Nite Wave!

Queen Mother - Queen Mother is a high-energy Seattle-based rock band known for their electrifying live performances and dynamic sound. With a blend of raw vocals, powerful guitar riffs, and driving rhythms, they channel the spirit of classic rock while infusing it with a modern edge.

Nite Wave - Nite Wave is Seattle’s premier ’80s new wave tribute band, dedicated to bringing the biggest hits of the decade back to life. From Duran Duran to Prince, their infectious energy and spot-on renditions of beloved classics keep audiences dancing all night.
